Our webshop processes privacy-sensitive data, i.e. personal data. Homie B.V. considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Personal data is therefore processed and secured with care. We comply with the requirements of applicable privacy legislation (GDPR). This means, among other things, that we:

• limit our collection of personal data to what is necessary for legitimate purposes;

1. Processing orders

When you place an order, we process personal data to handle it correctly. This includes:

• Email address
• Phone number (for installation purposes)
• Payment details

This data is necessary for the execution of the agreement. We share your data with:

• Sumedia B.V. Kuario B.V. Buckaroo B.V. (processes payment details and invoicing information)

Before entering into an agreement with you, we want to assess potential payment risks. This determines whether we enter into an agreement with you and which conditions we apply. We will also provide your data to Economic Data Resources B.V. (EDR). EDR checks personal data and provides credit information reports with risk profiles. EDR uses your data to investigate your creditworthiness and contact details. This also describes how you can exercise your rights, such as your right of access, objection, rectification and erasure.

We retain this data until your agreement has ended. Some data is retained longer based on the statutory retention obligation for tax purposes.

2. Your account

For certain features on our webshop you need to register. You then create an account with:

• Home address (for installation purposes)

This data is retained until three months after closing your account. By creating an account, you consent to us possibly contacting you by phone for assistance or feedback regarding (not yet) completed orders. You can update your own data in your account.

3. Contact form and newsletter

When you contact us via the contact form, we use:

• (Optionally) Payment details

We retain this data until we are certain you are satisfied with our response. For the newsletter we ask for your consent in advance. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link; you can also indicate this via your account.

4. Statistics and profiling

We collect usage statistics to improve our webshop and display more relevant information. We may combine personal data to better understand you (profiling), unless you object to this.
