Our Homie washing machines are becoming increasingly popular, but that also means that the number of questions from our customers is increasing: how does Homie work exactly, what is the notice period and can I take over a washing machine after use? What is the notice period?
After the minimum term, the notice period is 1 month. The subscription continues until the device is picked up. If you cancel within the term, there are cancellation and/or pickup costs involved.
You can always transfer a device to a new user for free. We will then stop your subscription for free.
Can I take over a washing machine?
This is certainly possible. The costs for this vary depending on how old the washing machine is and the number of wash cycles that have been run. Contact us via your Homie account, so we can make a calculation for you.
In what way does Homie differ from Coolblue / BlueMovement?
In some aspects, Homie is similar to Coolblue and BlueMovement, such as striving for a 9+ customer experience. However, customer satisfaction is not the only thing we stop at. Even after installing the washing machine, Homie remains your friend. We give you advice based on tips and tricks on how to wash more economically. To do this, you scan the QR code on the washing machine. This is not possible with competitors’ washing machines, such as Coolblue and BlueMovement.
Is Homie cheaper than Coolblue/BlueMovement?
This depends very much on how much you wash and which subscription you take out. The longer your subscription runs, the cheaper it gets. This of course applies to all three.
